For those who may not be experts in the VA loan, VA guarantees the loan in the mortgage and not the home. That is where the guarantee fee goes. Therefore, it is up to the borrower to take correct actions in hiring the experts to inspect the property. One of the things that your VA loan will require that is not demanded in other lending programs is the termite inspection.
Do not forget to order your termite inspection. Typically, your Realtor, or one of your Realtor’s coworkers will have a list of inspectors that they have used successfully in the past, so reach out to them for your help.
